Factory privacy glass is darkened glass, not film. It’s common behind the front doors on SUVs, pickups and minivans. Front doors usually come clear, which leaves the two-tone look a lot of owners want to fix. A 2 Windows kit takes care of it in about an hour.
Matching factory glass
Factory privacy glass is often somewhere around the 15% to 25% range, but it varies by vehicle. To match it, most owners choose 20% on the fronts. For something a little lighter in front, go 35%. Front side windows have the strictest tint limits in most states, so check yours.
