3 Series fit notes
- The 3 Series sedan has a small fixed glass at the back of each rear door, set in the Hofmeister kink. It is cut as its own piece and needs a careful trim along the rubber.
- From 2014 BMW moved the 2-door coupe and convertible to the 4 Series. So a 2014 and newer 3 Series is a sedan, wagon or Gran Turismo, and those three have different rear glass.
- The back glass on the sedan is steep and curved with defroster lines and a dot-matrix border. It is the hardest window on the car and needs a lot of shrinking.

A Full Car – Sedan kit is $65 in carbon or $143 in ceramic, with free shipping. Front doors only are $42 carbon or $65 ceramic.

Front doors take about an hour. A full car takes most first-timers 2 to 4 hours, with most of that time on the rear glass.
