5 Series fit notes
- The 5 Series sedan has a fixed glass section at the back of each rear door, cut as a separate piece. The electric i5 shares the body and glass with the gas 5 Series of the same generation.
- Some trims have rear door sunshades or a power rear window sunshade. Film goes on the glass and the shades still work, but be careful not to catch the shade with your squeegee.
- The back glass is large and curved with defroster lines and a dot-matrix border. Plan for a long shrink on it.

A Full Car – Sedan kit is $65 in carbon or $143 in ceramic, with free shipping. Front doors only are $42 carbon or $65 ceramic.

Front doors take about an hour. A full car takes most first-timers 2 to 4 hours, with most of that time on the rear glass.
